2008 Variety Show, Sunday April 20th: Spaghetti Dinner, Great Acts, Barrels of Fun! BWA Youth Team church-wide variety show to raise money for their upcoming trip to BWA Youth Conference in Germany.

Sunday March 23rd was Easter Sunday. Our children enjoyed a message from Pastor Bill and "Children's Church" with Marian Mulcahy.

On Wednesday Nights children attend Faith Weaver Friends, Missions and Spark classes. Our wonderful teachers are Jessica Davis, Beth Youmans, Rocio Hernandez, Wendy Plache, Jessica Brewer and Lloyd Youmans... Thank you all!

Sunday March 16th was Palm Sunday. Our children led us with a palm procession.

Momentum is the youth group's annual spring break project. This year we painted three kiddo classrooms and repainted the play room in the youth area!

The ladies of Memorial joined for an afternoon of tea, delicious treats and fellowship at the home of Pat Hines.

At SNAC (Sunday night after Church), we hang out, play games, eat fabulous food, and hear a student-led devotional. SNACs are held at the home of Memorial folk, and all MBC members are invited and encouraged to host!

Education & Training Commission's Winter Bible Study of 1 Thessalonians with sessions on Sunday (morning and evening) and Wednesday (evening). The leaders were the MBC Staff.

WE LOVE our Sunday School Teachers and wanted to show our appreciation to them with a wonderful dinner prepared by the social commission, and Richard sang, and we gave gifts, and laughed, and told stories, and Pastor Bill spoke about being a gracious teacher. Thanks to everyone and to Pam and Leslie for arranging sucha fine evening.

We journeyed to the mountains of Maryland for our Mystery Retreat, stopping on the way for laser tag! With our speaker, Alan, we discussed the differences between "Reel Life" and the Real Life Jesus has called us to. Our Bible studies were interactive (human knot, skits and card houses) and we had a wonderful time!

We stayed up ALL night to welcome 2008!

It was GREAT! We went to Tyson's and saw the new Veggie Tales movie, and ate snacks, and popcorn, and soda, adn the movie was really good!

The Sanctuary Choir and the cast from "An Unexpected Christmas"' got together in December, 2007 for a GREAT Christmas party! Thanks for hosting Michelle and Cody!

The Sanctuary Choir, orchestra and Drama Team presented a Christmas Musical on Saturday, December 8th and Sunday, December 9th 2007 at 7:00 p.m.

On Wednesday night, Dec. 5, Chris and Rose Milefsky led us in making sweet (literally and figuratively) gingerbread houses. Afterwards, we played in the snow!

Thanks to Bill and Judy Smith, our December SNAC host and hostess! Caitlin led our devo, we at delicious snacks, and played Greedy Santa!

About fifty folks joined together to make Advent Wreaths on December 2. Using the finest of tree "stuff" (graciously selected by Charlotte), we made wreaths. We also enjoyed a potluck meal together!

The youth went to go see the Casting Crowns Concert at the Verizon Center on November 8, 2007. "Yeah, it was pretty fun!"

Harvest Festival at Memorial Baptist out back on the lawn 12:00 - 3:00 November 4, 2007. Live Music, Pumpkin Painting, Face Painting, Bobbing for Apples, Horse Shoes, Cake Walk, Moom Bounces, and Great Food and Fellowship!

Our beloved friends and gifted musicians bid their final (sort of) farewell on Sunday, October 14, 2007. We hope they come back for a "visit" soon and often. We will miss you.
